Gertrude Laing (1786-1827), wife of Abraham Lane, was the daughter of Captain Benjamin Laing and Mary who are also buried in the cemetery. She married Abraham Lane, who was baptized in 1782 at Neshanic, Somerset County, NJ. He was the son of William Lane and Maria Vanderveer of Bridgewater, NJ. Based on his age, it is not possible for him to have served in the Revolutionary War. He died at Newark, New Jersey in 1851 and his burial location is unknown.

The original biographical information stated that Abraham Lane was 2nd LT & Ensign under Col Ogden NJ Rev War. I think that the birth, death, and biographical information for this memorial at one time may have matched Private/LT Abraham Lane. (1748-1838). I believe that this Abraham Lane was buried on his family farm in Branchburg, New Jersey (Memorial ID: 204988833) with his wife Mary Huffman/Hoffman.
In the Abstract of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots by Patricia Law Hatcher which is searchable at Ancestry.com, two Abraham Lanes of New Jersey show up in a database search:
