Vincent Altaha Jr. of Whiteriver went into eternal rest Dec. 7, 2010, in Mesa. He was born May 1, 1950, in Whiteriver.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Shirley Altaha; children: Roy Altaha, Cassie Altaha; sister Phyllis Bead; granddaughters: Tiffany Altaha, Shantel Altaha, Nolanda Altaha, Shanaya Bravo; great-granddaughters: Tierra Quay, Tyra Quay, Tiana Quay; godchildren: Gladys Arredondo, Randy Opah, Bobby Bones Jr., Natalie Clay, Tiana Quay; and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Minda and Vincent Altaha Sr.; brother Wayland Altaha Sr.; and great-granddaughter Shyane Shaya Quay.

A two-night wake started at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 16, at his residence 1740 Appaloosa Ave (Chinatown #130) in Whiteriver. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Seven Mile Miracle Church in Seven Mile with Dr Timothy Hinton. Interment will be at the R-14 Crossing Cemetery in Cedar Creek.
