Walter Ray Haddock, age 80, of Mobile, formerly of Florence, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, of Florence. The service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother William Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Simpson Haddock; brothers, Alton Haddock, John Haddock, Euel Haddock and Brunner Haddock; sisters, Neva Darby, Vera Lawson and Maye Daniels.
Survivors are his wife, Joyce A. Haddock, of Mobile; daughters, Marsha Jansen (Herman), of Summerdale, Ala., and Sherry Stabler (Frank), of Fairhope, Ala.; sisters, Gertrude Holt, of Florence, Elaine Simpson, of Indiana, Martha June Lee, of Florence, Nina Raye, of Florence, and Faye Fulmer, of Union, Mich.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
