Mrs. Willie Mae Boatright Tapley, 96, a resident of Brunswick, died Wednesday 12/15/10 in the Senior Care Center of the Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick.

Mrs. Tapley was a native of Bacon County, Georgia and had been a resident of Brunswick since 1956. She was a former member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Brunswick and was a member of the College Place United Methodist Church in Brunswick. She was retired from F. W. Woolworth's in 1977. She was a member of the AARP.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Tapley and her parents, Mitchell and Lucinda Boatright.

Survivors are her daughter, Elinda G. Price of Brunswick, a grandson, Kevin Price of Brunswick and a granddaughter, Dawn Kreysar (Doug) of Redmond, Washington and three great grandchildren, Corinne, Marissa and Seth Kreysar of Redmond, WA., a nieces and caregiver, Dorcille Giddens and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 Am Saturday from the Chapel of the Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Grotheer officiating.

Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be her nephews, Charles King, Dan Eddins, Shannon Chastain, and also Tom Bullock, Pat Meadows and Charles McCollum.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Members of the Fellowship Sunday School Class of College Place UMC, Emmett Bonnett and Memory Care Staff of Senior Care
The family will receive friends one hour before the Service in the Funeral Home.
