Mrs. Johnson, the former Louise Koehler, was born June 19, 1888, in Hector, Minn. She married Vernie Johnson Sr. on Dec 5, 1902, in Minot.
They farmed at Donnybrook until about 1945, then mover to Minot. Mr. Johnson died Feb. 5, 1949.
Mrs. Johnson was a charter member of the Fifth avenue Homemakers Club, belonged to Royal Neighbors of America, and was a past president of the Woman’s Relief Corps.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Inez) Olson of Donnybrook, and Mrs. Elmer (Stella) Menzies, Mrs. Glenn (Ethel) Stoa and Mrs. Oliver (Gertrude) Emerson, all of Seattle, Wash.; four sons, Leo and Clayton H., both of Minot, Chester of Leeds, and Vernie Jr. of Donnybrook; a brother, Fred Koehler of Wichita, Kan.; 33 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, a brother and four children preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home until noon Wednesday. Reviewal at the church will be prior to the service.
