John Alexander Qualls, 68, of Twin Falls died Saturday at his home. He was born on December 24, 1918 in Castleford to Ralph and Edna Jewel (Roberts) Qualls. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He was a retired electrician. He married Mary Elizabeth Buckmaster on December 26, 1937 in Shoshone. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Blanche Louise Baker and Helen Adeline Swall; and his brother, Clifford Tim Qualls. Survivors include his wife; his daughters, Judith Helen Howard and Pamela Jean Humphrey, both of Boise, Karen Booth of Florence, Arizona, and Tamra Mary Quesnell of Twin Falls; his sons, John Alexander Qualls, Jr., Kelly Neal Qualls, and Robert Thomas Qualls, all of Twin Falls; his sister, Betty Eva Black of Boise; nineteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Cremation took place and memorial services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at White Mortuary with Rev. Joel Stith officiating.
