Clifford T. Qualls, 72, of Twin Falls died Saturday at Twin Falls Clinic Hospital. Born on April 30, 1909 in Marble, Arkansas, Mr. Qualls came to Idaho in 1917 and for a number of years, he farmed in the Twin Falls and Buhl areas. In 1944, he established Twin Falls Electric Company which he owned and operated until retiring in 1971. In 1929, he married Lucille Shiffer. She preceded him in death. On September 25, 1971, he married Lola Snelson. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Tim Qualls and Keith Qualls, both of Twin Falls; a daughter, Naomi Brown of Twin Falls; a step-son, Dick Roth; a stepdaughter, JoAnn Sligar; a brother, John A. Qualls of Twin Falls; a sister, Betty Black of Boise; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Qualls was preceded in death by two sisters, Blanche Baker and Helen Swall; and a step-grandson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reynolds Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Kribbs officiating. Burial will be in Twin Falls Cemetery.
