The former Miss Hattie Udoria Barnhill, she was a native of Williamson County and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors Include nine daughters, Mrs. L. D. McCord and Mrs. Ernest Daugherty of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. R. E. Fox of Nashville, Mrs. W. D. Jones, Jr., of Kingsport, Mrs. Marion Akin of Thompson Station, Mrs. William Caldwell, Mrs. Percy Sparkman, Mrs. Wilma Sullivan, and Miss Delores Sullivan of Franklin; three sons, Leroy Sullivan of Franklin, Elmer H. (Bobby) Sullivan of Thompson Station, and M/Sgt. Guy Sullivan with the U.S. Army in Taiwan, Formosa; one brother, V. I. Barnhill of Thompson Station; 21 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted this (Thursday) afternoon a 1:30 at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Herbert A. Robinson, David Tyree and Myron Keith officiating. Burial will be In Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Darris, Frank, and Kenneth McCord, Don Daugherty, L.C. Sparkman, and Buddy Johnson. Honorary pallbearers are Gilbert Sullivan, Ellis Martin, Ed Young, Ernest Pennington, Glenn Sparkman, Glen Overbey, Park Huff, Leon Evans, Wash Fisher, Dr. William F. Encke, S. E. Farnsworth, Fulton Beasley, Curtis, Ivo, and Alton Barnhill.
