COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Ernest Jack Moss, 83, who died Tuesday in Masters Health Care Center, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Dyer Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Russell and Bro. Burdette Randolph officiating and burial to follow in the Crest Lawn Cemetery.
A retired farmer who lived at Rt. 3, Baxter, Mr. Moss was a Putnam County native and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Moss.
He is survived by his wife, Dollie York Moss; two sons, Charlie Moss and Marvin Moss, of Baxter; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Herren, Mrs. Myrtle Maxwell and Mrs. Geraldine Hedgecough; one brother, Bill Moss; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen greatgrandchildren.
