Mrs. Alice. Leota (Jarrett) Lee, wife of Grancie (Jack) Lee,
passed away at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at Emergency hospital
here after an illness for over two years. Her condition had been critical for six weeks and an operation performed last Tuesday failed to improve her condition.
Mrs. Lee was born July 3, 1907 in Prairie township, the
daughter, of George W. and Minnie Elizabeth (Collier) Jarrett.
She had lived her entire life in Tipton county.
On Sept. 6, 1924. s h e was married to Mr. Lee, who survives, as do the couple's two daughters, Phyllis and Betty, both at home. Two brothers, Ross and Ralph Jarrett of Kokom, also survive. The parents are deceased.
