Bessie M. LARGEN, 87, Nappanee, died at 3:45 a.m. Sunday at the Elkhart General
hospital where she had been a patient for six weeks. She had been ill for 10 weeks.

Mrs. Largen was a former Rochester resident, moving to Nappanee from here seven years
ago. She was born Nov. 12, 1889 to James and Mary HOSHAW McNULTY in Lex, Ind. She
was married May 15, 1909 to Ross LARGEN in Flora; he died July 12, 1968. She was a member
of the Flora Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are a son, Wayne [LARGEN], Rochester; four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur
YEATER, Logansport; Mrs. Eldo CLAWSON, Nappanee; Mrs. Max LOGSDON, Oxford, and
Mrs. Carl EHERENMAN, Mentone; seventeen grandchildren, and thirty-nine great-grandchildren.
A son, two daughters, eleven sisters and a brother preceded in death.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wright-Yoder funeral home, Nappanee,
with the Rev. Don POYSER officiating. Burial will be at the Akron cemetery. Friends may call
from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
