Mrs. Dena Buck Dies in Salina
Mrs. Dena Buck died at the home of her son, R.M. Buck, on Highland avenue, yesterday. The funeral services (were) held at 10:30 this morning in the Baptist church at Ada with Rev. J.M. Powell in charge.
Mrs. Buck recently came to Salina to live with her son, M.A. Buck, 904 East Iron. While spending a short visit with her son, R.M. Buck, on Highland, she was taken seriously ill and died at his home.

Rose Hill --- Mrs. Peter Buck, an old resident of Ottawa county, died at Salina, June 19, and was buried in the Ada cemetery. Mrs. Buck lived in this vicinity a good many years. The family has the sympathy of the neighborhood
Better Way, June 28, 1917, page 6:
Glendale -- Mother Buck passed away Tuesday, June 19, at the home of her son Ralph in Salina, and the funeral services were held Wednesday in the Ada Baptist church of which she was a member for years. She always did what she could.
