Charlotte Ann Pickard Webb was born in Muskogee, OK on June 18, 1939 to Bruce and Dorsie Jane Pickard. She was married to Truman Dean Webb for 53 years. Charlotte and Truman met at a basketball game at Oktaha School. Through the years if you saw one of them you saw the other. They made their happy home in Elm Grove for most of their married lives. Charlotte worked at Muskogee General Hospital for 20 years. She also served as a member of the Keefeton Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church. She was always willing to cook for anything that was going on in the community. She loved cooking and was known throughout the county for her fabulous pies. She loved her family more than life itself. She was everyone's support anytime day or night, no matter what was needed. One of the biggest joys of her life was the birth of her only grandchild Ann Marie Gibbs. She loved to tell you what was going on at the Webb house with Papa, Nana and Ann Marie. Charlotte leaves to mourn her death her husband Truman; Daughters Yolanda and Larry Woodruff of Gans, Debra and Roy Gibbs and granddaughter Ann Marie Gibbs of Elm Grove; special great niece Tiffany Bales Scrapper of Muskogee; Brothers L.J. Bales of Tulsa, Rot Gene and Eunice Pickard of Rogers, AR; sister Wynema and Bob Webster of Warner. She also leaves many nieces and nephews that she adored. She leaves her brothers-in-law Ted Webb of Needville, TX, Albert Webb of Austin, TX, Ricky Webb of Phoenix, AZ and Danny Webb of Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Dorsie Pickard; a sister Juanita Smith; brothers Vernon Bales, Kenneth Bales, and Robert Pickard; brother-in-law Sgt. Edward Arvil Webb; infant sister Percilla Webb, beloved father and mother-in-law E. A. and Janet (Jackie) Webb and numerous nieces and nephews. Charlotte was highly loved and will be missed by all. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday December 15, 2010, at Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church with pastors Cardell Coppin and Danny Barks officiating. Interment will follow in Agnew Cemetery. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
