Wynema “Kitty” Webster was born on November 27, 1935 in the Brushy Mountain area of Muskogee County. She passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the age of 81. She worked at Muskogee General Hospital for 25 years. She retired from Connors State College after 25 years of service. Wynema enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved attending their activities. She also loved gardening and spending time in her flower beds. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorsie (White) Pickard; brothers, Vernon Bales, Kenneth Bales, L.J. (Jeff) Bales, Robert Pickard and Roy Pickard; sisters, Juanita Smith and Charlotte Webb; her adorable granddaughters, Brandi Dixon Pickering and Nancy Dixon Fielding. Funeral services celebrating Wynema’s life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2017 at Warner First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Bennett Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
