Mrs. Leona Lee Bullard, 52, died yesterday evening in Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of the Fairfax Community in Ware County and was the daughter of the late William Stiles Lee and Ada Morgan Lee.
She is survived by her husband, William A. Bullard, Jr., Waycross; four sons, William Lavon Bullard and Wayne Bullard, both of Waycross, David Bullard, Bradenton, Fla., and James R. Bullard, Blackshear; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Bowen, Willacoochee, Miss Lanette Bullard, Mrs. Andrea Underwood and Miss Debbie Bullard, all of Waycross, and Mrs. Mavis Bennett, Homerville; three sisters, Mrs. Omie White and Mrs. Juanita Geiger, both of Axson, and Mrs. Fronie Smith, Waycross; two brothers, Elmer Lee, Axson, and James Lee, Pearson; 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Hargraves Chapel. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
