Thomas Wesley Hofer, 74 Died at 9:03 am on Feb 21, 1990 at McKay-Dee Medical Center due to complications of Parkinsons's Disease. He was born April 11, 1915 in Blackfoot, Idaho to August and Sarah Louise (Barnard) Hofer. He met his wife Marjorie Terman and they were married April 10, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had a total of 9 children. He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 36 years as a fireman and an engineer. He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcyles, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Normon, Joseph, Reed, and sisters Ella May Hofer and Ruth Hofer Brunson. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, his brothers Ray and Jim of Blackfoot, Idaho, His children Norman (Joan) Hofer of Clearfield, UT; Jerry L (Annabelle) Hofer of Roy, UT; Ronnie (Donna) Hofer of Portland, Oregon; Clifford (Mary) Hofer of Ogden, UT; Carol (Gordon) Bullough of Covina, CA; Luann (Melvin) McKinnon of Ogden, UT; Rosemary (Wayne) Lum of Clearfield, UT; Betty Jean Hofer of Clearfield, UT; Marie Hofer of Portland, Oregon. 13 grandchildren. Interment will be at Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch in South Ogden, Utah.
