Mrs. Jessie (Gowen) Tyzzer, passed away at her home yesterday afternoon following a brief illness. She had been in ill health for many years, but only seriously ill a few days.
She was the wife of Dr. Ernest E. Tyzzer of 175 Water Street, as was a life long resident of Wakefield.
She was educated in the local public schools and was graduated from Wakefield High School in the class of 1893.
After their marriage, Ernest and Jessie lived on Fairmount Avenue until 1922, when they purchased their farm on Water Street, on which they have been successful, particularly in the raising of turkeys for several years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and its Philathea Class for many years. At one time she was a member of the Kosmos Club.
