He was born in Waynesboro on Feb. 12, 1899, son of the late Robert and Nettie Terrell. He was a member of the Staunton Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Susie Slone Terrell; one son, Thomas N. Terrell Jr., Staunton; two daughters, Mrs. A. J. Snyder, Staunton and Mrs. Janet Marcum, Staunton; four grandchildren; two brothers, Otey Terrell and Harvey Terrell, both of Waynesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Evaline Shifflett, Mrs. Ethel Shifflett and Mrs. Phyllis Craig, all of Waynesboro.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of the McDow-Tyree Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Loren Shakleton, of Staunton. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
