Martin Achterhof, 84, of Sun City died March 14, 1999, in Walter O. Boswell Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Achterhof was born in Chicago and was a manager for Armour Company. He moved to Arizona in 1971 from Chicago and was a member of the West Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Sun City.
Mr. Achterhof is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; three sons, Warren, James and Kenneth; two sisters; Henrietta Drenth and Gertrude Engstrom; three brothers, William, Albert and Henry; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sunland Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday in West Valley Christina Fellowship Church, 12649 N. 105th Ave. in Sun City. Burial is in Sunland Memorial Park.
