"Martin Doering died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Christian Hille, twelve miles southwest of Odessa. Death was due to old age, deceased being over 91 years old. He emigrated to this country from Russia 30 years ago, settling in South Dakota, and came to Washington to make his home with his daughter, six years ago. Besides Mrs Hille, two sons, one living in SD and the other in Canada, survive him. Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday and interment took place at the Hoffmansburg Cemetery."
