Mrs. Cora I. (Biery) Cox, 74, of Sedalia, died at the Clinton County hospital, Frankfort, on Thursday. Her death was sudden. She was born in Clinton county on Sept. 1, 1884, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Biery. On Aug. 28, 1906, she married Charles Cox, who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1958. She was a member of the Geetingsville Presbyterian church.

Survivors include a son, Burdette Cox of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Stoops of Carmel; two sisters, Mrs. A. O. Quick of Frankfort, and Mrs. Dale Shanks of Frankfort; a brother, Dr. O. E. Biery of Frankfort, and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Cox had lived all her life in the Geetingsville community and moved to Sedalia six years ago.

Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. on Saturday from the Moore & Brown Funeral Home in Rossville, with the Rev. Gordon Gendron officiating. Burial was in the Geetingsville cemetery.
