Grave on Mary A. Yarbrough Banks, on the back of the obelisk memorializing her husband Russell Banks, who is buried among the Confederate dead at Kingston, Bartow County, Georgia where he died of fever after capture by Union troops in 1864.

Mary Yarbrough Banks with daughter Nancy Catherine Banks Acree, her husband James Knox Acree, and grandchildren circa 1880's. Some of the younger children including my grandmother Retha Jane Acree were not yet born. James Knox Acree was the son of William B. Acree and Drucilla Whitfield. James and Nancy lived just down the road from the James Russell Banks house was located in what whas then Habersham, now Stephens County, Georgia, not far from the Banks Cemetery.
