"Our precious mother", Oral Haslem of Orem, Utah, passed away Nov. 28, 2010, in Provo, Utah. Daughter of Rulon and Mary Ann Rasmussen, she was raised in Lapoint, Utah. She married Acel Haslem in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on June 30, 1948. She graduated from BYU and taught at Sharon Elementary for 18 years. She lived the gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully throughout her life and poured out love on everyone around her. She served in the church all of her life, and was a temple worker. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love and service to all. She was the wonderful Mother of six children, adored Grandmother of 32 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren. She loved having her family around and most of her grandchildren's happy childhood memories revolved around her. She will be sorely missed. Services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, December 4th, 2010, at the LDS Orchard Stake Center, 810 E. 600 N., Orem, Utah. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Interment will be held at the Orem City Cemetery.
