Ivy was the daughter of Albert H. & Beulah Hartlage.

Ivy was married to William F. Hartlage on November 3, 1927 in Ft. Bend County.


The following obituary was published in the Herald Coaster on Sunday, August 8, 1999:

"Ivy Hartlage"

Funeral services for Ivy Hartlage, age 88, of Foster Community, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, with Dr. Steve Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Hartlage died Saturday, August 7 at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

She is survived by two daughters, Vera Carhart of Houston, and Lenora Holmes and husband, Cecil, of Richmond; a son, William Hartlage Jr. and wife, Charlotte of Foster Community, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Elmer Banks of Jackson, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by husband, Will Hartlage and by a grandson, Wyatt Holmes.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or to a charity of choice.
