Jane "Janie" Bentley Gaston, the daughter of Oren J. Bentley and the former Miss Caroline Jane Cain from Pikesville, Tennessee was born on July 31, 1856 in Tennessee. On March 3, 1877 she married Judge James B. Gaston from Gainesville, Hall County, Georgia.
