Albert A. Ewing, 72, died at his home, 915 1/2 Addison Street, Monday, May 14, 1945 at 10:20 p.m. following an illness of an year.

Mr. Ewing born in Greene county August 22, 1873, a son of James and Phoebe Ewing. He spent most of his entire life in Washington.

Mr. Ewing was a member of the West Washington Methodist Church. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Carpenter's Union. However for the past 14 years he was a farmer in the Eighty Four district.

He was united in marriage August 4, 1894, with Margaret M. Breese, Waynesburg, who survives.

Besides his wife he leaves the following daughters and sons: Adda, wife of Newton Berdine, Amity; Alta, wife of John Schrader, Washington; Lula, wife of Henry Watters, Laboratory; Katherine, wife of Roy Fulton,Washington; Nellie, wife of Clark Spence, Washington R.D.4; Lawrence, Washington R.D.2; Henry, Washington; Ray, Wayne, Oklahoma; Cpl Charles, with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific; Pfc Robert, with the U.S. Marines in the South Pacific; a sister Mrs. Iva Stillwell, Waynesburg, R.D.1; and two brothers, Lee of Wolfdale, and Harry, Washington; 29 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Ewing---Friends of Albert A. Ewing, who died May 14, 1945, will be received at his late home, 915 1/2 Addison Street until 1:30 p.m., Thursday. Funeral services will be held at the West Washington Methodist Church Thursday at 2 p.m., in charge will be the Rev.John H. Debolt. Burial will be in the Prosperity Cemetery. Bebout & McNary, Washington, funeral directors.
