WORLD WAR IIWarren Lee Gochenauer, 37, Mechanicsburg R#2, a native of Adams County, was fatally injured Sunday morning at 3:15 when his auto crashed along the Trindle Road, two miles west of Mechanicsburg. Gochenauer, a member of a dance band, was enroute home following an engagement in Carlisle.

Warren is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gochenauer, Biglerville, and was born 5/13/1921. He was a member of Trindle Springs Lutheran Church and Sunday School. He was Assistant Scoutmaster at the First EUB Church and was a veteran of World War II. The deceased was employed at the Naval depot at Mechanicsburg for the last fourteen years.

Surviving are his widow, Esther Slusser Gochenauer; 3 sons David, Clair and Daryl; and one daughter Nancy, all at home; his parents; maternal grandfather John Starner of Flora Dale; 3 brothers John and Stanley both of Biglerville, and Clair, Dillsburg; two sisters Mrs. Roy Bream-Hanover and Mrs. Preston Baumgardner-Fairfield.

Funeral services Wednesday @ 2 pm at the Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg, conducted by his pastor, the Rev. Charles I. Rowe. Interment in the Trindle Springs Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock.
