PINE PLAINS — Alice Battistoni Deuell, 81, a lifelong Poughkeepsie resident, died June 15, 1997 at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. Born Aug 30, 1915 in Pine Plains, she was a daughter of John and Catherine Biardi Battistoni. She married Waldo Deuell in 1941. Mr. Deuell died in 1963. Mrs. Deuell is survived by two brothers, Joseph and Loren Battistoni of Poughkeepsie. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Deuell was predeceased by four sisters, Margaret Pieropan, Fortuna Delmaso, Candida Buratto and Mary McManus; and four brothers, John, Henry, Charles and Harry Battistoni. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
