The funeral of Mrs. Sue M. Wehner, of Hopkins, mention of whose death was made in our last issue, was held from J. H. Pardee's funeral home Friday afternoon at two o'clock, and was largely attended, many of her friends and neighbors from Hopkins joining with friends and relatives from Otsego, Kalamazoo and Cheshire in paying their last tribute to a noble woman and beloved friend. Sue M. Fox was born in Cheshire on July 14, 1868. She was married to Kasper Wehner and for years they resided on a farm near Hopkins. Since Mr. Wehner's demise she has made her home in Hopkins. She is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Myron Jones, of Battle Creek, three brothers, Nelson Fox of Kalamazoo, Irving and Marvin Fox of Allegan, and a sister, Mrs. O'Brien of Pasadena, Calif. Rev. Geo. W. Atkinson of Muskegon conducted the funeral service. Burial was made by the side of her husband in Mountain Home cemetery.
