Senvices for Mrs. Rosa Irene Sommer,
82. formerly of 1049 W. Parker St.. will be
1 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity Lutheran
Church with burial in the Garden of
Memories.
Mrs. Sommer died at Bartels Lutheran
Home, Waverly, Wednesday afternoon.
She was born March 4, 1894. in Tripoli,
the daughter of Charles and Mary Green
Schwemm. She married Arthur Sommer
Dec. 27, 1916, in Waverly. She moved to
Waterloo from Tripoli in 1925. She was a
charter member of the Carpenters Auxiliary
348.
Survivors include two sons, Glenn A,,
312 Marie St., Elk Run Heights, and
Robert C., 1006 Conger St.; two
daughters. Mrs Russell M. Buzzard, 922
Cutler St., and Mrs. Ronald Homann of
Waverly; three sisters. Miss Nevada
Schwemm and Mrs. James Harper, both
of the Russell Lamson Apartments, and
Mrs. Leone Jackson, of Hawthorne. Calif.
Friends may call at the Parrott and
Wood Funeral Home after 11 a.m. Friday.
