GEORGETOWN, Texas - Judy Louise Mallinger, 69, of Liberty Hill entered into rest November 16, 2010 in a local hospital. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 6-8:00 pm in the Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. There will be a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Father Howard Goertz will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in St. Helen's Catholic Church in Georgetown.
Judy was born October 4, 1941 to Clyde and Carmellia (Breno) Williams in Ft.Dodge, Iowa. She attended and graduated from Ft. Dodge High School, she went on to become a beautician. Judy met and married Dennis F. Mallinger on December 31, 1959 in Ft. Dodge. She then became very involved in the family business, Mallinger Trucking, scattered throughout Texas, Iowa, and the Midwest. She served as the Chief Financial Officer from the headquarters in Temple. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was selfless in her dedication to her family's well being and was a very devout Catholic. Judy and Dennis were founding members of Wildflower Country Club in Temple and Balcones Woods Country Club in Austin.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dennis; son, D.J.; daughter, Tammy and her husband Rusty Tomasek; grandchildren, Ashley Mallinger, Bianca Tomasek, and Katy Mallinger; sisters, Marie Peck and Beverly Syford; cousins, Neil Olson and Pat Breno.
