Thelma M. Schaub, 83, of 3514 Molleck Drive died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2000, at the home of her daughter at 125 Beloit Road, Marquette Heights. Born March 29, 1916, in Fairbury to Floyd B. and Lena Rapp Betts, she married Vincent V. Schaub Sr. on Sept. 6, 1934, in Peoria. He died on Nov. 10, 1990, in Peoria. Two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Surviving are four sons, Thomas (and Ursula) of Eagle River, Wis., Vincent Jr. (and Linda) of Mowequa, James (and Michelle) of Rockmart, Ga., and Stephen of Peoria; five daughters, Carol (and Mike) Largent of Chokoloskee Island, Fla., Frances Losey of Houston, Texas, Helen (and Lemon) Smith of Rockmart, Ga., Betty (and Keith) Adkison of Marquette Heights, and Kathryn (and Dave) Orten of Elmwood; one brother, George Betts of Morton; 27 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
