Prudence Goodrich Hubbard Holcomb was the daughter of David and Prudence Churchill Goodrich of Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT. She was married twice. Her first husband was David Hubbard (ca.1707-1760) of Glastonbury, Hartford Co., CT. The couple settled in Glastonbury where their ten children were born: Prudence (b. ca. 1723), David (b. ca. 1725), Hezekiah (b. ca. 1727), Hannah (b. ca. 1729), Anne (b. 1731), Honour (b. 1734/35), Elizar (b. ca. 1736), Prudence (b. ca. 1738), Roswell (b. ca. 1741), and Aaron (b. ca. 1745).* Husband David Hubbard died in 1760. Sometime after 1765 Prudence married Judah Holcomb (1706/07-1802), himself a widower, from Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Judah and Prudence lived on his farm in Granby. Prudence died at age eighty-two.
