Madge White Baker, 98, passed away October 31, 2010 in South Ogden, Utah. She was born in Thurber, Utah on May 30, 1912 to Hiett White and Amy Louisa Allen White. She was the oldest of eight children. She married Max Mangum Baker in Bicknell, Utah; the marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa Arizona Temple. He passed away December 5, 1994. She and her husband lived for many years in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She is survived by her son Gary M. (Janell) Baker and daughter Vee Ann (Spencer L.) Seager, a sister Genece Jensen and sister-in-law Lawanii White. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Ora Nell Deitlaf and son-in-law Howard Deitlaf as well as the following brothers and sisters; Kelton (Ethel) White, Allen (Josie) White, Urban (Inez) White, Read White, Nelda (Lloyd) Woolsey, La Vee (Owen) Peterson and brother-in-law Max Jensen. She will be missed by her loving family. A graveside service was held November 6, 2010 at the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, preceded by a viewing held at the Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
