"Amy Allen White --- BICKNELL, Wayne County --- Funeral services for Amy Allen White, 77, Bicknell, who died Monday of a heart ailment in a Gunnison hospital, will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Thurber Ward Chapel in Bicknell.

"Mrs. White was the mother of Mrs. Max Baker of American Fork and of Mrs. Owen Peterson of Spanish Fork.

"She was born Feb. 1, 1895, in Grover, Wayne County, a daughter of Samuel A. and Thisbe Hanks Allen. She married Hiett White on Oct. 21, 1910, in Loa and the marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He died on May 21, 1966.

"Mrs. White was active in the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society president. She had also been captain of Camp Thurber DUP.

"Survivors include four daughters and four sons, Mrs. Max (Madge) Baker, American Fork; Mfrs. Owen (LaVee) Peterson, Spanish Fork; Kelton White, Kanosh, Millard County; Allen Whiten, Nevada; Urban White, Teasdale, Wayne County; Mrs. Max (Genece) Jensen, Buena Park, Calif.; Read White, Cottonwood, Ariz.; Mrs. Lloyd (Nelda) Woolsey, Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Pete Allen, Lloyd Allen, both Richfield; Paul K. Allen and Rex Allen, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Forrest (Ruth) Alvie, Escalante, Garfield County.

"Friends may call at the Springer Mortuary in Richfield Wednesday from 8 to 9 p.m. and at the chapel Thursday two hours before services. Burial will be in the Lyman, Wayne County, Cemetery."
