DENNIS L. WILT
Mr. Wilt, 89, of Box 119, Homers Gap, RD 1, died at 11:50 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 1983, in Altoona Hospital, after a brief illness.
Mr. Wilt retired as a machinist from the Samuel Rea shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1961, after 47 years' service.
He was born Oct. 31, 1894, in Morrisons Cove, the son of Fred and Maria (Shaffer) Wilt, and in 1929, married Arletta Rutter.
Surviving are his wife, four children: Jean Brooks of Williamsburg RD, Ronald and Cleo, at home, and Malden Barr of Las Vegas, Nev.; 21 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wilt was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
WILT -- Services for Dennis L. Wilt of Box 119, Homers Gap, RD 1, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Paul O'Brian. Interment in Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of services in the funeral home.
