MEDFORD Funeral services for Albert Abegglen, 76, Abbotsford, formerly of the town of Deer Creek, who died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield Thursday, have been set for 2:30 . p.m. Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wilbert Frank will. officiate and burial will be made in the Stetsonville Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the Ruesch Funeral Home until Sunday , noon and then at the church.

Mr. Abegglen was born at Stetsonville on April 6, 1891, and had lived in this area all his life. He farmed in the town of Deer Creek until his retirement in July, 1957, and in 1961 moved to Abbotsford. He was married to Lydia Ploeckelmann at Dorchester on May 22, 1922. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Gordon, Abbotsford; Donald, Stetsonville, and Alvin, Stetsonville; two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Adeline) Schoenike, New Berlin, and Mrs. Marvin (Janet) Schrader, Manitowoc; 15 grandchildren, a brother, Ernest Abegglen, Medford, and a sister, Miss Ida Abegglen Milwaukee. One sister and. five brothers preceded him in death.
