SARASOTA, Fla. - Mary Edith Keeney, 76, of Sarasota, formerly of Comfort, W.Va., died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, in Florida. She was a former school cook in Comfort, a member of Kensington Park Civic Association and attended Calvary Chapel. Surviving: husband, Robert L. Keeney; sons, Dell of Sarasota, Robert of Lombard, Ill.; sisters, Jewell Cochran of Liberty, W.Va., Frankie Thompson of Dawes, W.Va., Glenna Poser of Fort Myers, Fla., Ella Mae Buzzard of Comfort; brother, Reno Halstead of Cross Lanes, W.Va.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
