Mrs. Sarah Frances Brown was born October 14, 1865 and departed this life March 11, 1936 aged 70 years, 4 months and 29 days. She was married to Lemuel Brown and to this union were born 11 children, 8 girls and 3 boys, two girls, Bessie and Della preceded her in death.
She was converted many years ago and was one of the first members of the Highlandville Baptist church and was a member at the time of her death. Those who survive are her husband, and nine children, 30 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of friends to mourn her departure.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Highlandville Baptist church, with burial in the Highlandville cemetery under the direction of Harding and Maples Funeral Home of Nixa, Mo.
