DELTA-- Marcella Sampson Ross, age 79, died May 2, 1996 at Delta.
Born November 28, 1916 at Delta to John Lorenzo and Rosetta Albrect Sampson. Married Cecil Kai Ross January 31, 1936 at Fillmore. Later solemnized in Manti LDS Temple. He died February 16, 1977. She lived whole life in Delta and was known for acts of kindness and love. Great joy was family. Graduated from Delta High. Active LDS Church giving much service, especially Relief Society. She will be missed.
Survived by son, Harvy K. (Sharon), Delta; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brother, Doyle C (Edna), St. George; sisters, Erma McCullough and Dorothy (Don J.) Webb, both Delta; Lila Mae (Shirley) Debenham, Anchorage, Alaska. Preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters.
Funeral services Monday May 6, 1996 at 11:00 a.m., Delta 3rd Ward. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary, Delta, Sunday 7-8 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. Burial Delta Cemetery.
