He was born and reared in Greencastle, the son of William B. and Harriett (Rummell) Gordon. He had been employed by the Western Maryland Railway for several years.
Survivors are: Daughters, Mrs. hillary Seaton, Mrs. Elizabeth Eberly and Mrs. Edward Bussard, al of Hagerstown;Mrs. Phillip Spikes of Texas; sons, Paul W. and Robert J. Gordon, this city; sisters, Mrs. Charles Mullenix and Mrs. Grace Seville, this city; and brother Benjamin Gordon this city.
Four grandchildren also survive.
The body was removed to the A.K. Coffman funeral home where services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. R. E. Hartle officiating, interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
