BESSIE KATE MULLENIX, 74, 916 Pennsylvania Ave., died at Washington County Hospital Wednesday afternoon following a brief illness. She was born in Greencastle Pa., daughter of William B. and Harriett Rummel Gordon.
She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and the Cheerful Workers Sunday School Class.
She is survived by husband, Charles E. Mullenix, daughter, Mrs. Hazel Vergers, Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. Grace Seville, Hagerstown; brother, Benjamin Gordon, Hagerstown; one grandson.
Services were held at the Rest Haven Funeral Chapel; burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
