Fatal Accident at Menasha
Frank Seymour, a DePerean, the Victim
Frank Seymour, formerly of this city, is the victim of a fatal accident at Menasha Tuesday. He was employed by the Menasha Woodenware company. The accident happened while driving a dump-cart through an archway. He had his head jammed down into his shoulders and his spine was broken. He was taken to the home of his son-in-law, George Lafond, where it was soon learned that he could live but a short time. His brother, Alex. Seymour, of this city, went to Menasha on hearing the news. Frank was conscious and realized that he would die. The relatives received word this morning of his death. The body will be brought to DePere this evening and the funeral will be held Saturday forenoon from the French Catholic church.
Mr. Seymour leaves a wife and nine children, four of whom are married. An unmarried daughter, Josephine, lives with her uncle, Alex. Seymour, in this city. He has another brother, Jeremiah, at Plattsburgh, N.Y. Mr. Seymour was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., 57 years ago. He has been a resident of this city for about 37 years. He was a member of Co. F, Fourteenth Wisconsin regiment.
