Anna G. Bollinger - Church and grange member, former homemaker
Mrs. Anna G. Bollinger, 92, of Orbisonia, died at 8:35 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, 1993, at Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia. Born June 7, 1901, in Orbisonia, she was a daughter of the late Banks and Margaret (Garver) Ewing. She was married to Lester L. Bollinger on Oct. 11, 1923, at Hagerstown, Md. Surviving are her husband, at their home; two children, Lester E. Bollinger of Orbisonia and Grace E. Lepperd, Altoona R.D. 1; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by two brothers, J. Boyd Ewing and George E. Ewing. Mrs. Bollinger was a member of the Rockhill Church of the Brethren, Rockhill Furnace. She was also a member of Shirleysburg Grange #119. During her life, she was primarily a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home Orbisonia, with the Rev. Myers Kimmel officiating. Interment will be in Orbisonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today (Tuesday), from 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday, from 9-10:30 a.m.
