Albert Willis, 73, life long resident of Cambridge and vincinity, died Monday at 3 A.M., at the home of John Wilson, New Concord, as the result of a paralytic stroke suffered two weeks ago.
Mr. Willis was a brother of the late Robert E. (Doc) Willis, former Guernsey County Sheriff, who was murdered during a holdup at his filling station east of Cambridge last May 30.
The deceased was born in Jefferson Township, a son of Thompson and Elizabeth Willis, and until recent years, engaged in farming. He was a member of the Second U.P. Church.
Surviving are five brothers and sisters; Mrs. James E. McConnell ad W.T. Willis, Cambridge, Miss Ethel Willis, Columbus, J.M. Willis, of Cambridge-Birmingham road, and Charles H. Willis, Washington, DC.
The body was removed to the Stevens & McCracken Funeral Home, South Eighth Street.
Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at the Second U.P. Church by the pastor, Rev. Leland M. Miller, and burial will be made in Northwood Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home until time for the funeral.
