Daisy was the daughter of Townsend and Mary (Hewitt) Young. Daisy was born in Salem, NJ. She married Morris H. Smoyer on 29 Jul 1899. Morris was born in Oct of 1878. His ancestors were PA Dutch, Mennonite. In 1900 they were living in Royersford, PA. Morris was working as a glassblower. Also living in Royersford, in 1900, were Daisy's parents, Townsend and Mary Young and her brother Samuel. Townsend, too, was working as a glassblower. Their children were: Dorothy E. (Smoyer) Berks 1900 wife of Raymond Berks, Linwood W. 1903, Selah May (Smoyer) Oliver 1907-1998 wife of Hanley Oliver, Harold T. 1911, and Joyce E. (Smoyer) Wagner 1912 wife of Raymond Wagner. They continued to live in Royersford for many years. Her parents went back to Gloucester Co., NJ.
