Graveside services for Rose Moore Shaneyfelt, 79, of Austinville Flint Road will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Brock officiating and Brown Service Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home and requests donations be made to a favorite charity.

Mrs. Shaneyfelt died Wednesday at her residence. She was a member of Moss Chapel Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star / Hartselle Chapter No. 39, and was the widow of Hershel Shaneyfelt.

She is survived by one son, Billy Joe Shaneyfelt of Decatur; three daughters, Carolyn S. Parker, Lila S. Spurlock and Marlene S. McAfee, all of Decatur; one foster son, Lelton Sims of Huntsville; four grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; one foster great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.

Nephews will be pallbearers.
