Ernest Hillenbrand, 74, 150 Hillcrest Circle, Sun Prarie, died Thursday, April 4, 1974 in Hot Springs, AR. He was a retired clothier and former owner of Hillenbrand's Clothing, Inc., Sun Prairie. He was a member of the Sun Prairie Lions Club and Sacred Hearts Holy Name Society. He served as a member of the Sun Prairie Fire Department and the Park Board for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, the former Leanitae Laeser; two daughters, Mrs. John (Audrey) Hein of Sun Praiire and Mrs. J. V. (Jean) Sitter of Oshkosh; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Sacred Hearts Church of Sun Prairie at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 9. Msg. Fred Hillenbrand of Chicago, a first cousin of Mr. Hillenbrand was the officiating clergyman. The rosary was recited at the Tuschen Funeral Home on Monday, April 8. Burial was in the Sacred Hearts Cemetery.
