SOLDIER BOY DIES
Raymond Blakemore died at Camp Beaureguard, Louisiana, last week, of measles and pneumonia. He volunteered last summer, and was stationed with his company at Ft. Smith, and later moved to Little Rock, and a few weeks ago was moved to Camp Beaureguard. His body was shipped to his parents at Lincoln, Arkansas, and was buried in the family cemetery at Cane Hill Monday.
He lived here several years ago, with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Blakemore, and was known by all our people. The parents and family have the sympathy of all in this their hour of grief over their soldier boy who gave his life for his country.
