HERMAN BLAKEMORE
MANTECA, San Joaquin Co. - Funeral services will be held Thursday in Bergthold Funeral Chapel for Herman Blakemore, 53, who died this morning in his home at 329 Sycamore Avenue.
A native of Texas, Blakemore had lived in Manteca the past 25 years. He worked as a planing machine operator for a Stockton pencil company. He leaves his widow, Irene, of Manteca; a son, Ronald Blakemore of Fresno; two brothers, John of Murphys, Calaveras County and Emory of Los Angeles, and four sisters, Mrs. Lila Roodruff of Modesto; Mrs. Lucille Bright of Richmond, Contra Costa County, Mrs. Thelma V. Crismore of Antioch, Contra Costa County, and Mrs. Lenny Roberston of Texas.
The Rev. Floyd Tuffs of St. Paul's Federated Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery.
